Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Business Development Manager with a proven track record in the marketing and advertising industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new clients (especially on retainer), and building strong, long-term client relationships to drive agency growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business leads through networking, referrals, online platforms, and industry events

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients across sectors

Pitch our services to prospective clients and convert leads into long-term business relationships

Drive client acquisition for retainer-based marketing services (branding, digital marketing, advertising, etc.)

Prepare and present tailored proposals and decks for client requirements

Negotiate and close business deals in line with company targets

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals

Collaborate closely with the creative, digital, and strategy teams to ensure alignment on deliverables and client needs

Maintain CRM or sales tracking tools to report weekly/monthly progress

Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market developments
Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)

3+ years of experience in business development in a marketing/advertising agency or similar industry

Proven success in acquiring new clients and growing business, preferably on retainers

Strong network and understanding of the Indian marketing landscape

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver under pressure
